Hamilton produce the Perry during three separate periods, with this particular model being made 1948 through 1952. This Perry features an American made 982 caliber manual mind movement with 19 jewels. The serial number J509453 indicates it was produced in 1949. The dial has been refinished in a glass black with applied gold numerals. The gilt painted minute track, sub seconds, and Hamilton logo is in excellent condition. There is no patina evident across the dial, but there are small nicks in the black finish near the sub dial. The American made caliber 982 manual wind movement was serviced April 2019 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 38 seconds per day.
