Serviced April 2019, gloss black refinished dial with 18k gold applied numbers. Hand polished 14k gold filled case, gently worn Hirsch leather strap, NOS acrylic crystal, alloy mainspring.
Hamilton produce the Perry during three separate periods, with this particular model being made 1948 through 1952. This Perry features an American made 982 caliber manual mind movement with 19 jewels. The serial number J509453 indicates it was produced in 1949. The dial has been refinished in a glass black with applied gold numerals. The gilt painted minute track, sub seconds, and Hamilton logo is in excellent condition. There is no patina evident across the dial, but there are small nicks in the black finish near the sub dial. The American made caliber 982 manual wind movement was serviced April 2019 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 38 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished 14k gold filled bezel and case back. Some fine scratching on the bezel. One larger scratch on the case back.
Lugs - No plate wear on the tips of the lugs. Minor ding on the reverse side of one of the lugs. Lugs are drilled through to make changing straps easy.
Crystal - NOS acrylic crystal installed April 2019 as part of the full servicing.
Hands - Are not original to the watch, but are genuine Hamilton hands. Light patina developing.
Dial - Dial has been redone in a glass black finish. Very minor chipping near the sub dial. Gold applies numerals. Gilt painted minute and sub dial tracks and Hamilton logo in excellent condition.
Band - Gently worn Hirsch black lizard print leather strap with gold tone buckle.
Movement - Hamilton caliber 982, American made, manual wind, 19 jewels. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
