1948 Hamilton Norman

Serviced May 2019, superb silver dial with 18k gold applied numbers and markers. Hand polished 14k gold filled case, vintage 12k gold filled Nanasi bracelet, mineral glass crystal, alloy mainspring. Comes with Hamilton display box.

Produced from 1948 through 1951, the Norman features the 19 jewel, manual wind 982 movement. The serial number on this American made movement dates to 1946. The original silver dial is in near mint condition with no patina evident. The paint on the dial is mint. The hands appear to be original and have light patina developing. The 14k gold filled case has been hand polished and shows no signs of plate wear, including on top of the lugs. The watch comes ready to wear on a 12k gold filled mesh style bracelet. Also included is an original vintage Hamilton watch presentation box. The 982 manual wind movement was serviced November 2018 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 13 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished 14k gold filled bezel and case back. Some fine scratching.

Lugs - Lugs are in excellent condition with no plate wear evident.

Crystal - Mineral glass crystal

Hands - Appear to be original with light patina.

Dial - Original silver dial with 18k gold applied Arabic numerals and dots. Hamilton logo, sub seconds track, and minute track paint in mint condition.

Bracelet - Vintage 12k gold filled Nanasi mesh style bracelet

Movement - American made Hamilton caliber 982, manual wind, 19 jewels. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
