Serviced April 2023, very good silver dial with gold applied markers, honest patina across the dial, polished 10k gold filled case, unworn genuine leather strap, NOS acrylic crystal, NOS alloy mainspring.
Introduced in 1940, the Emerson's production was only interrupted during WWII as Hamilton switched to wartime manufacturing. This Hamilton Emerson comes with an American made, manual wind caliber 980 movement. The serial number on the movement indicates the watch was made in 1945. The watch has hooded lugs, giving the watch an art deco look. The watch features a sterling silver dial with 18k gold applied numerals. The dial is in very good condition with patina across the dial. The paint for the Hamilton logo, sub seconds track, and minute track is in excellent condition. The watch comes ready to wear on a brand new, unworn brown genuine leather two piece strap with gold tone buckle. The 980 manual wind movement was serviced April 2023 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 19 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished 10k gold filled case. Some very fine scratches on the bezel. Minor plate wear on the corners on the case back.
Lugs - No visible wear on the tips of the hooded, art-deco style lugs.
Crystal - NOS acrylic crystal installed April 2023 as part of the full servicing.
Hands - Appear to be original with light patina.
Dial - Original silver dial with gold applied markers. Patina across the dial. Paint on the dial is in excellent condition.
