1941 Hamilton Vincent
1941 Hamilton Vincent
Serviced May 2019, excellent patinaed silver dial with 18k gold applied numbers, polished 10k gold filled case. Stunning woven lugs, unworn black genuine leather lizard print strap, alloy mainspring, NOS acrylic crystal.
Made for just two years in 1940 and 1941, the Vincent features an American made 980 caliber manual mind movement with 17 jewels. The silver dial has honest patina across the dial. The painted minute track and Hamilton logo are excellent. There are some blemishes on the painted sub second track. The hands appear to be original and are in good condition with light patina. The most distinctive feature of the Hamilton Vincent is the woven lug design, giving the watch an elegant mid-century modern look. There is some plate wear on the tops of the lugs. The watch comes ready to wear on a brand new genuine leather two piece strap with gold tone buckle. While the case was made in either 1940 or 1941, the serial number on the movement (G333817) indicates that it was produced in 1941. The 980 manual wind movement was serviced May 2019 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 38 seconds per day.
