1941 Hamilton Ross

1941 Hamilton Ross

Serviced November 2018, patinaed silver dial with gold applied numerals, polished 14k gold filled case with light scratching, vintage 10k gold filled Speidel expansion bracelet, polished acrylic crystal.

Hamilton produced the Ross from 1939 through 1946. The early models used Hamilton's 980 caliber movement. The 982 caliber was introduced in 1941 across the range, which is what this particular example is powered by. The case and bezel are 14k gold filled and have been hand polished. The dial is evenly patinaed and has a few minor dings in the finish. The paint for the Hamilton logo, sub seconds track, and minute track is in excellent condition. This Hamilton Ross comes ready to wear on a vintage 10k gold filled expansion bracelet with stainless steel backs. The 982 small seconds movement was serviced October 2018 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 26 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished 14k gold filled bezel and case back. Some scratching on the front of the bezel and wear through the gold plating on the corners of the case back.
