1941 Hamilton Ross

Serviced June 2019, silver dial with gold applied numerals, light patina, polished 14k gold filled case, unworn ostrich grain strap, NOS mineral glass crystal, alloy mainspring.

Hamilton produced the Ross from 1939 through 1946. The early models used Hamilton's 980 caliber movement. The serial number on this movement (G377000) indicates that it was made in 1941. The bezel and snap on case back are 14k yellow gold filled and have been hand polished. This Hamilton Ross comes ready to wear on a new, ostrich grain two piece strap with gold tone buckle. The 980 small seconds movement was serviced June 2019 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 44 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished 14k GF bezel and snap on case back. Some fine scratching on the front of the bezel and minor plate wear on the tips of the case back.

Lugs - Drilled lugs to make strap changing a snap.

Crystal - NOS mineral glass crystal installed as part of the full servicing.

Hands - Appear to be original with light patina.

Dial - Original silver dial, gold applied markers. Clean dial with light patina. Sunken small seconds dial at the 6 o'clock. All the original paint in excellent condition

Movement - Hamilton American made 980 caliber, 14/0 size, manual wind, 17 jewels. Serviced June 2019. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
