1941 Hamilton Lester

1941 Hamilton Lester

Serviced September 2018, good silver dial with 18k gold applied numbers, light patina, polished 14k gold filled case, unworn black leather strap, NOS glass crystal and mainspring.

Technically made from 1941 through 1950, the Lester was a model that Hamilton 'reintroduced' to the consumer market in 1946 after halting production of commercial watches in 1943 to 1945 due to WWII. This Lester features an American made 982 caliber manual mind movement with 19 jewels. The silver dial has light patina, with the most significant patina on the minute track at 12 o'clock. The painted minute track, Hamilton logo, and sub seconds track is excellent. The 982 manual wind movement was serviced September 2018 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 43 seconds per day.
