1940 Hamilton Vincent

Serviced November 2018, good silver dial with 18k gold applied numbers, light patina, polished 10k gold filled case, stunning woven lugs, unworn genuine leather strap, NOS alloy mainspring.

Made for just two years in 1940 and 1941, the Vincent features an American made 982 caliber manual mind movement with 19 jewels. The silver dial has light patina. The painted minute track, Hamilton logo, and sub seconds track is excellent. The most distinctive feature of the Hamilton Vincent are the woven lug design, giving the watch an elegant mid-century modern look. The 982 manual wind movement was serviced November 2018 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 22 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished 10k gold filled bezel and case back. There is no visible plate wear.

Lugs - No visible wear on the lugs, including on the tips.

Crystal - Acrylic crystal polished clean and clear.

Hands - Appear to be original with light patina.

Dial - Original silver dial with 18k applied gold numerals and light patina across the dial. Paint on the dial is in excellent condition.

Band - Brand new, unworn black croc print leather strap with gold tone buckle.

Movement - American made Hamilton caliber 982, manual wind, 19 jewels. Brand new alloy mainspring installed during the full service November 2018. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
