Serviced December 2025, American made manual wind movement, excellent silver dial with gold applied numerals, hand polished 10k gold filled bezel and case back, unworn alligator calf strap, NOS acrylic crystal, alloy mainspring.
Made from 1937 through 1940, the Hamilton Sidney comes with an American made Hamilton caliber 987A manual wind movement with 17 jewels. The serial number on this example is from 1940. The silver dial is in excellent condition with no patina evident. The painted Hamilton logo and sub seconds register are excellent. The hands appear to be original with light patina. A NOS acrylic crystal was installed during service. The 10k gold filled bezel and case back have been hand polished and show some fine scratching. Plate wear on the case back was repaired at some point in the watch's history. The watch comes ready to wear on an unworn brown alligator calf two piece strap. The 987A caliber manual wind movement was serviced December 2025 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 18 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished 10k gold filled bezel and case back. Fine scratching evident. Repaired plate wear on case back.
Lugs - Excellent with minor plate wear.
Crystal - NOS acrylic.
Hands - Original hand with light patina.
Dial - Original, excellent condition dial. Paint is excellent.
Strap - Alligator calf two piece strap with gold tone hardware.
Movement - American made Hamilton caliber 987A, manual wind, 17 jewels. Fully serviced December 2025. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
