1940 Hamilton Judson

Serviced May 2020, original silver dial with 18k gold applied numerals and markers. Hand polished 14k gold filled case, unworn leather strap, mineral glass crystal, alloy mainspring, monogrammed case back.

Produced for just a single year in 1940, the Judson came with the 19 jewel caliber 982 and with two dial variations. This example features the original silver dial with applied gold numerals and is in good condition. There is some patina across the dial. The paint on the outer minute track, sub second track, and Hamilton logo is in excellent condition. The hands appear to be service hands and show very little patina. The curved mineral glass crystal has some fine imperfections. The hand polished 14k gold filled case shows some fine scratching. The bezel features excellent art deco styling on the sides, as well as fluted disk shaped lugs. There is plate wear on the corners of the case back. The watch comes ready to wear on an unworn brown genuine leather brown two piece strap with gold tone hardware. The 982 manual wind movement was serviced May 2020 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 18 seconds per day.

Case - Hand polished 14k gold filled bezel and snap on case back with some fine scratching. Plate wear on the case back corners. Case back is monogrammed:

Lugs - Plate wear on the reverse edge of the disk shaped lugs.

Crystal - Mineral glass crystal with some minor imperfections.

Hands - Appear to be service hands (correct size and scale) with very little patina.

Dial - Original silver dial with gold applied Arabic numerals. Hamilton logo, sub seconds track, and outer minute track paint in excellent condition.

Band - Unworn genuine leather brown two piece strap with gold tone buckle.

Movement - American made Hamilton caliber 982, manual wind, 19 jewels. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
